ADULT BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

In our BJJ and Submission Grappling Training classes you will learn how to control an opponent on the ground using proper technique and leverage and apply a number of finishing holds proven to be effective against all body types.

Interested in competition? Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Submission Grappling tournaments are becoming one of the fastest sports in the Area. If you join our team, you will become part of an exciting sport as well as have an opportunity to get your competitive juices flowing. New Jersey hosts more than 10 big Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Submission Grappling tournaments per year, making our area quite the “hot spot” as far as competitions go. Bored of the Gym? See how some of our students have lost 35+ lbs in less than 6 months of training. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a full body workout, and when combined with a healthy diet and lifestyle (easily motivated by our training program), results in an easy way to lose weight and get in the best shape of your life!

No prior experience? Not a problem! Although a small percentage of our students come from backgrounds in wrestling or prior Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program, most do not. Our classes are very beginner friendly with plenty of instructors and senior students willing to help our new students every step of the way!

KIDS BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

In our kids martial arts classes, your child will learn how to control an opponent on the ground using proper technique and leverage, as well as how to apply a number of finishing holds proven to be effective against all body types. Children will learn balance, develop flexibility, and most importantly practice self-control and discipline in order to be successful in this art.

We break up our kids into age specific groups to help target their current stage of development. The Future Champs (Ages 4-6) is our youngest group which features a shorter class time and the kids learn at their ideal rate in a very fun environment. Our older groups (Ages 7-9 & 10-13) feature a longer, more detailed class where they can be challenged to their full potential.

Safety is our highest concern in this very physical martial art. Each technique taught in our Kids BJJ Program has been carefully chosen with both safety and effectiveness in mind. As a result, your child will learn an effective art for self-defense, without the need for punching and kicking, in the safest manner possible.
